Adam Winski

From the audience into the circle.

I'm Adam. I help organizations build new things and find better ways of working together. I also play banjo, host a monthly bluegrass jam, and co-founded Mamaroneck Porchfest.

Hearth started when I noticed the best rooms share a few things most rooms are missing.

Hearth · A book in progress

What makes a room easy to join in?

Some rooms turn nearly everyone in them into a spectator. A few turn nearly everyone into a participant. Hearth is about how to build the second kind, in jams, classrooms and workplaces.

Field Notes are the stories I'm gathering along the way. They come by email, every few weeks.

Mamaroneck Porchfest

One day a year, front porches across the village become stages and the whole neighborhood walks between them.

My band

Heart Fjord

Heart Fjord is my bluegrass and Americana band. There are five of us, all from Westchester.

We've played porches at Porchfest and a tent at the Hudson River Music Festival. Now we're booking gigs at breweries, parties and community events. If you have a room that needs music, please reach out!
